This is my entry for the great CORRIDOR CHALLENGE of :iconvizen: where we can take a look what is going on in the dark and mysterous corridors of Hogwarts at night :-)

I like to paint scenes from Snape's subjective perspective- now a wild imagination of Lily Evans coming to him, innocent, playful and childlish as she was before their lives took different directions, an imagination where she would bring him wings and they would fly away from the bitter, dark world of unforgivable sins.

This imagination of Snape is a torment, it hurts him badly, because Snape knows very well that the ghost of Lily Evans probably would never visit him... would never look at him like this... and would never touch him :(


This is only a part of the actual painting, my corridor background was very lame....:blushes:

*sigh* Oh, dear, this is so beautiful. You keep outdoing yourself! Her hair, her hair! It's beyond beautiful.
I love the bittersweet emotions. Lily looks a vision, and Sev is finally looking happy! I love to see him happy. But he has this expression as if he's afraid any moment he'll wake up and discover Lily was a dream. It's so hard to capture emotion like that, so my hat is off to you!

:wow: Uuuuram Isten, ez gyönyörű lett! Hihetetlen... Úgy tudsz bánni a festékkel... Nem találok szavakat. Imádom ezeket az illusztrációkat. Valami kis könyvbe vagy albumba simán mehetnének. Annyira egyediek... :) Mivel csinálod a fényt köré?

He's happy and hurt at the same time...That's so believable for this situation and for what an unrequited love and a grieving person are. When I start to think about his situation and of the guilty and regrets he should have felt.... Right, I understand that a part of the readers don't like it... but for my part, it's living to me, his pain is deeply understandable. And you're so right. Lily is sun, childhood, smile and warmth. Like in your picture - you really show it here.

Wow, this is one of the finest Lily/Severus pieces I have seen in awhile. You have really outdone yourself here. Both characters look so happy, but the painting is almost painful to look at because as the viewer, we can imagine what Snape must feel. Just amazing!
